1. Sift flour, salt & spice together , add lard & margarine to resemble bread crumbs. 2. Add sugar & mixed fruit, mix in egg until soft dough. 3. Roll out 1/4" thick, and 2" rounds 4. Cook on hot griddle, or frying pan with a little lard/grease until lightly brown on both sides. Cool 5. Sprinkle with sugar or butter |
