Alabama Welsh Association
The Alabama Welsh Association was founded in 2006 to preserve and nurture our Welsh heritage in Alabama.  We are celebrating our two year anniversary March 4th, 2006.  As we continue to grow throughout Alabama we invite those Welsh born, or of Welsh decent or anyone that is interested in Welsh culture, language and history to join us.  AWA is a non-profit, non-sectarian and non-political organization.  Membership dues are minimal and used entirely for operating costs, and Welsh related projects.

AWA affiliated with other Welsh and Welsh-American Organizations including the
National Welsh-American Foundation , the Welsh National Gymanfa Ganu Association. , Americymru, , Welsh League of Arizona, Madoc International Research Association, and Prince Madoc Quest Society
